Burma Democratic Concerns (BDC) has determined that it is time for Ibrahim Gambari to vacate his post as United Nations Envoy to Burma. His continual failure to stem the tide of genocide has yielded catastrophic results in human suffering and death to the citizens of Burma. His efforts to bring democracy to Burma were counterproductive at best.

Myo Thein, Director of Burma Democratic Concerns in the United Kingdom, ascertained, We have been expressing our doubts over his (Gambari) impartiality and now the image is much clearer that he is merely a special advocate for the Burmese Junta.

All Myanmar people who live in foreign countries and all people who receive this letter and want to appear "Peace for Myanmar "As you know, our country (Myanmar) faces so many problems of political, social, economic and education on the long journey.More recently, our country loses of the peace and improves misunderstanding between military, society and other armed groups.

VENERABLE SAYADAW U UTTARA CALLS FOR WORLD LEADERS

Venerable Sayadaw U Uttara is the prominent Buddhist Monk Leader. He calls for the world citizens and leaders to work harder to realise the mandates given by Aung San Suu Kyi and National League for Democracy (NLD) which won the 1990 election overwhelmingly.

U Uttara highlighted the importance of four main principles demanded by Aung San Suu Kyi and National League for Democracy (NLD), on February 2, 2009, when they met with the visiting UN envoy;

• to put more pressure on the military regime to release all political prisoners including Aung San Suu Kyi immediately and unconditionally

• to review on the constitution which is designed to legitimize military rule in Burma and adopted unilaterally in 2008

• to recognize the 1990 election result in which Aung San Suu Kyi's party won landslide victory

• to allow to convene the people's parliament based on 1990 election result

These would be the minimum terms needed to be fulfilled before NLD could have a dialogue with the Burmese military rulers, they reaffirmed.

They are the mandates given by our leaders and it is our duty to realise them, he added.

Reverend Shwekey Hoipang-Chin Ethnic Leader On 1990 & 2010 Elections

Reverend Shwekey Hoipang said, "I believe we don't need election in 2010. Why? Because we already have free and fair election in 1990 and Aung San Suu Kyi and NLD party won the election and also ethnics political party, they won political seats in their region. We just need to implement the result of the 1990 election. I strongly believe that we don't need one any election in 2010, just as Aung San Suu Kyi stated we just have have to implement or exercise the resuly of the 1990 election."

Kyaw Zwa said, "We are from Burma. Our forefathers are from Burma. Junta wants to drive us out. There are a lot of religious persecution especially on Muslim. I would like to urge all Musilm brothers and sisters around the world that please raise this issue. Please make awareness what is happening in Burma. Use your liberty and voice for voiceless people. Don't forget Burma".
He added that, "We are Muslims but we have to live like brothers and sisters with Buddhists, Christians and Hindus."
