Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) welcomes president U Thein Sein's decision to halt building Irrawaddy dams at the confluence. We would like to call for president U Thein Sein regime to stop totally for good building dams at the confluence of the river Irrawaddy rather than halting it in the mean time so long as he is the president of Burma. We want certain future and peace in our lives. We would like to call for president U Thein Sein regime to grab once in a life time opportunity to save Irrawaddy by totally terminating it.
