Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) seriously condemns U Thein Sein so-called civilian regime attacking on Kachin ethnics people and KIA.

U Myo Thein, the Director of the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) said “We are with our Kachin brothers and sisters in this critical time and we will always be. The suffering of the Kachin people are, we believe, the suffering of the Burmese people. We earnestly call for U Thein Sein regime to immediately stop attacking on KIA and Kachin people.”

U Khin Maung Win, the Director of the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) said “We don’t want war in Burma. We want peace. We want national reconciliation in Burma. So, stop attacking on KIA and Kachin people”.

U Tint Shwe Thi Ha, the Patron of the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) said ““We couldn’t believe that so-called new government is doing more offensive attacking on ethnics’ people of Burma. U Thein Sein regime is implementing master plan crushing all opposition by using ultimate military might.”

Daw Khin Aye Aye Mar, the Patron of the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) said that “Crisis in Burma cannot be solved through military might but through the dialogue. Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) would like to call for U Thein Sein regime to stop attacking ethnics’ people of Burma but reinstate truce”.

Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) would like to reaffirm our position that we will work until we can restore democracy, human rights and rule of law in Burma leading toward establishing genuine federal union in Burma.
